Wound Care Services Tailored to Your Unique Healing Needs

Our professional staff can provide a smooth transition from care in an in-patient facility to care at home without a gap in care. This is accomplished through the services of a licensed nurse specializing in transitions from in-patient to an individual’s home. A smooth transition requires personalized attention and intense coordination among the home care agency, the in-patient facility and the treating physician in order to ensure all the patient’s needs for care, medication and equipment are identified and met. This often includes uninterrupted access to the following:

  • Hydrocolloid used for burns, pressure ulcers and venous ulcers

  • Hydrogel for wounds with little secretions and infected wounds

  • Alginate for wounds with high amounts of wound drainage

  • Collagen for bed sores, transplant sites, and large wounds

  • Negative Pressure Wound Therapy/Wound VAC (Vacuum Assisted Closure)

  • Creating a negative pressure environment in the wound using a vacuum dressing to aid in the healing process

  • Removal of dead, damaged or infected tissue at the wound site to help the remaining healthy tissue heal properly

  • Wraps/compression to reduce lower leg swelling

  • Surgical procedure that removes some part of the gastrointestinal or urinary system while creating an artificial opening in the abdomen to allow for the removal of waste products
