We will coordinate with your doctor to make sure he or she is informed of any changes or improvements in your condition. The goal is to promote your safety and health by following your doctor’s orders – all in the comfort of your own home.

Private-duty nursing is shift care by RNs and LVNs in a home that’s paid for privately by the patient, while skilled nursing through home health is paid for by insurance. The services provided are very similar, but the main differences are private pay, insurance pay, and intermittent visits vs shift care. Call us to inquire more information.

Medicare pays for skilled services, such as nursing and therapy in the home, when there is a skilled need and the patient is homebound. In order to qualify for home health service benefits, the patient must be under the care of a doctor who certifies the individual needs intermittent skilled nursing care, physical therapy, speech-language pathology services, or continued care assistance. A doctor also must certify that the patient is homebound.
